3-Cupcake-Eating Contest

The low-down: Two great customers of ours are disputing the legitimacy of being the mayor via FourSquare. While Michael is the “official” mayor of Tee & Cakes checking in daily, Tom knows he is a hard-core customer, loggin in serious hours working and enjoying our fine cupcakes and great coffee. Therein lies the discrepancy.

Soooooo…. Tom decides that once and for all he will be the Mayor he knows he is. He wants the title. Bad. How will it be determined? Whoever eats 3 cupcakes in the shortest amount of time.

For the event we chose our famous Hostess cupcakes. What they lack in the messy and sometimes overwhelming (when eating more than say, 2) buttercream icing, they make up for in richness with the ganache. They feature a rich, moist chocolate cake, cream filling and a covering of rich, tasty, shiny gancache (cream and dark chocolate)

Both did a fine job with finishing the challenge. However, Tom completed the challenge in 1:25, while Michael clocked in around 1:29. This makes Tom the Mayor round here, but we all know Michael rocks it like chocolate (Hostess) at Tee & Cakes!
