Tee & Cakes will be closed Tuesday June 15. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. We had a pipe burst in our basement and we will be making repairs to get us back us up to speed. Travel Mug Tuesday folks will be able to get their free drip on Wednesday instead.

Happy National Donut Day!

National Donut Day is on the first Friday of june each year (TODAY!) and follows on the Donut Day event created by the Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the women who served donuts to soldiers during World War I.^[1] The holiday celebrates the doughnut (a.k.a “donut”) — an edible, ring-shaped piece of dough which is deep-fried and sweetened.

We will have our Friday donuts as usual, but I suspect they will go a bit faster than usual…

Tee & Cakes Job Fair

Come on down to the job fair at Tee & Cakes. We will be accepting applications and giving immediate interviews this Sunday January 10th from 11am -1pm. We are looking for front counter cupcake/coffee pushers and bakers.

To apply for the FRONT COUNTER position you must have great customer service skills, be able to handle pressure and a fast pace, and not take cupcakes and coffee too lightly. We care about our product and want you to as well. We don’t skip around just nibbling on cupcakes all day.

To apply for the BAKING position you must be able to work Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday mornings. No exceptions. Please DO NOT apply if you DO NOT HAVE PROFESSIONAL BAKING EXPERIENCE as that is what we are in need of. Your duties will be cupcake and breakfast pastry production with a possibility of cake production as well. Please bring photos of your work.

Please bring a resume with your availability listed and be prepared to interview on the spot. Please DO NOT stop by the shop before Sunday or call.
