BONAVIDA GROWERS // LONGMONT, COLO.
10.14.12
Tee & Cakes is happy to support local farmers such as BonaVida Growers, which has their farm in Longmont, Colo. Tim Quinn has been operating the farm for 3 years now and doubled it’s farming operations since it’s inception. Tim focuses on growing chemical free vegetables and fruits as well as sustainable farming and produces a wide variety of fruits and veggies including (but much more, too): onions, kale, lettuce, apples, plums, sour cherries, garlic, broccoli, zucchini and carrots.
We have used BonaVida Growers in our baked goods several times before and perhaps you have enjoyed some our creations. If not, please come by this season to enjoy some of our pumpkin-themed treatss this fall. Here’s some snapshots of some of our goodies past, present and future…

08.30.10
This was a very cool wedding with so many details and carefully executed planning that this was one of the most awesome ones we have done at Tee & Cakes. We made homemade Oreos, macarons, cake pops, baby cakes, sugar cookies, donut holes… oh and a cake, too. The wedding planner was Stacy Mccain. Click HERE for tons more photos from the wedding.

Fresh Raspberry Muffins Today!
08.18.10
Our Chef’s Dad runs the Boos Family Ranch and Farm in Mead, Colorado, which is home to a unique strain of raspberry plant. We had the good fortune of harvesting some of these organically-grown fruits and razzle-dazzled our already outstanding muffins with these beauties. Werd.
Sour Cherry Tarts!
08.07.10
In between the sugar frenzy that is Tee & Cakes, every so often we can treat the good people to some rare sweet treats. These are sour cherry tarts and are available in limited quantities (as I type they might be selling out) and the cherries came from the chef’s dad’s farm. Not too shabby.

For those of us who are lucky enough to live in Boulder, Colorado . . . these unbelievable blueberry muffins are just a short stroll away on the Pearl Street Mall. Tee and Cakes Bakery is now legendary for making these and a wide assortment of cupcakes, cakes, desserts, coffee and pastries. However, it seems cruel not to share some of these delights with the rest of the world. Thankfully, the owners of Tee and Cakes agree and were again willing to share their secrets. If you visit Boulder, please make a point to stop by and see Kim and Brian at Tee and Cakes. Tell them Laura sent you!
